Which build?
Most PCs are x64. Windows on ARM devices, such as Snapdragon laptops and Surface Pro X, need ARM64. To check, open Settings, then System, then About, and read System type.
Install
- Run the installer.
- If SmartScreen appears, click More info, then Run anyway. The installer is signed.
- Start MQTT Viewer from the Start menu.
Portable
The portable zip holds a single
mqtt-viewer.exe. Unzip it anywhere and
run it. No installer needed.
Updates
Installed and portable builds both check for updates when they start and update in place.
Verify the download
Each file has a matching sha256 checksum. Compare it with:
certutil -hashfile MQTT_Viewer_v1.1.0_windows_amd64_installer.exe SHA256The output should match the checksum file linked below.
